Here is the day-by-day itinerary of the 7 Day Honeymoon Tour Morocco.

Day 1: Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast at your riad, a licensed local guide takes you through Marrakech, depending on your time and preferences. Visit the Majorelle Garden, the Jardin Secret, the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Saadian Tombs, and walk past the Koutoubia Mosque. Explore the souks, from leather and metalwork to lamps and rugs, and the restored Mellah quarter. The evening belongs to Jemaa el-Fna, with its juice stalls, storytellers and night food stalls.

Day 2: Marrakech → Telouet → Aït Benhaddou → Skoura Oasis
Leave Marrakech at 8:30 am and cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Turn off to Telouet and its Glaoui Kasbah, which is currently closed after the September 2023 earthquake, but its exterior is still worth a visit with a local guide. Then follow the scenic Ounila Valley, with its Berber villages and gardens, to Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you stop for lunch and a visit. Continue to the Skoura Oasis for a private dinner and overnight in a luxury rural riad.

Day 3: Skoura Oasis → Dades Gorge
After breakfast, walk through the oasis of palm, olive and almond trees and visit the restored Amridil Kasbah. Continue through Kelaat M’Gouna, the Rose Valley, where you can see locally made rose cosmetics. Take an off-road track to see cave dwellings and have tea with Berber nomads, then stop for lunch at the Dades Gorge. The afternoon is free to walk in the valley, relax or have tea with a Berber family. Overnight in a guest house.

Day 4: Dades Gorge → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
After breakfast, drive to Tinghir and the Toudgha Gorge for a short walk between its steep walls. Continue via Tinjdad and the Tafilalet oasis near Erfoud, with a possible stop at the underground irrigation channels (khettaras), then pass Rissani to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes. You are welcomed with mint tea, then ride a camel to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga
After breakfast, choose between two options:

  • Full-day trek: Ride or walk beside your camels, which carry everything for a lunch prepared in the dunes by your camel guide. About three hours in the morning and three in the afternoon, returning to camp for dinner.
  • Explore the area: Visit Khamlia, home to a Gnawa community that plays traditional music, then the old town of Rissani and its souk, built near the site of ancient Sijilmassa. In the afternoon, ride a camel through the dunes for sunset.

Dinner at the camp, followed by drumming and music around a campfire. In summer, the trek may be replaced by the second option because of the heat.

Day 6: Merzouga → Tazzarine → N’Kob → Agdz
Watch the sunrise over the dunes if you wake early. Drive west via Tazzarine and N’Kob, where we stop for lunch, then cross the Draa River at Tansikht and turn north to Agdz, the head of the Draa Valley. On arrival, enjoy a couple’s spa session, then a private dinner and overnight in a luxury rural riad overlooking the valley.

Day 7: Agdz → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a Glaoui kasbah and landmark of Ouarzazate, and the nearby Atlas Film Studios with their original film sets. We also stop at Tifoultoute Kasbah, perched above the river. We take a different road back, passing Berber villages and orchards, and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Your driver drops you at your hotel in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where the tour ends.
