The first stop is Ifrane, nicknamed the \u201cSwitzerland of Morocco\u201d, followed by the Azrou cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you can see wild Barbary macaques. Lunch in Midelt, then we follow the Ziz Valley with stops at panoramic viewpoints, passing Berber villages, Erfoud and Rissani. You arrive in Merzouga at the end of the day and are welcomed with mint tea. Dinner and overnight at the riad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Merzouga<\/strong><br \/> After breakfast, explore the area. Visit Khamlia, a village of the Gnawa community, to learn about their music and way of life, then drive through the desert to meet nomad families. You can also visit Rissani, the old Sijilmassa, a meeting point for the trans-Saharan salt caravans, and wander through its souk of spices, vegetables and cloth.
