Day 1: Camel Trek & Desert Sunset
Your adventure begins in the late afternoon (around 5–6 PM) when you mount your camel and set off across the rolling dunes. The trek takes about an hour and a half, offering plenty of chances to admire the ever-changing colors of the sand as the sun begins to set. Upon arrival at the desert camp, climb the nearby dunes for a panoramic view of the sunset before settling in for a magical evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by traditional Berber music around the fire, then drift off to sleep in cozy nomadic-style tents under a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Nomad Visit & Desert Exploration
Wake up early to witness the beauty of the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at camp. Afterward, ride your camel deeper into the desert to visit a nomadic family. Here, you’ll enjoy tea, learn about desert traditions, and taste a freshly prepared Berber pizza for lunch. After relaxing with your hosts, ride back to camp for more desert activities. Try sandboarding on the soft slopes, explore a nearby oasis, or simply relax while watching another unforgettable sunset. Dinner and a second night of stargazing complete the day.
Day 3: Sunrise & Return to Merzouga
On your final morning, rise early to admire the desert sunrise one last time before returning by camel to the edge of the dunes. Breakfast and a refreshing shower mark the end of your journey before continuing your travels.
